The tennis tournament of the year returns to Rome from May 03-18, 2008. This event is a must-see for tennis lovers, who won't want to miss the chance to see John McEnroe in person. Number one in international rankings, tennis legend John McEnroe will return to the ATP competitions in doubles and singles on the Senior Tour.
After last year's spectacular men's final, which saw the triumph of Spaniard Rafael Nadal and Jankivic for the woman's finale, the acclaimed Italian tennis tournament returns to Rome. From May 03 to May 18, 2008, the historic venue of the Foro Italico in Rome will host this year's men's tournament. Last year, the women's tournament held in the same venue drew over 125,000 spectators.

to reach the Foro Italico using public transportation, follow the instructions below from the end of the line at Piazza Mancini.
By the Metropolitana, take Line A to Flaminio. From here take the #2 Tram to the end of the line at Piazza Mancini. From here, cross the Duca D'Aosta bridge, which leads to the front of the facility.

From May 6 through May 21, Central Ticketing will be moving to Via delle Olimpiadi. It will remain open every day from morning until the end of the first set of the last match of every evening game session.
